School Digital Growth Blueprint

A free implementation checklist for organising your school website and improving the enquiry journey.

Week 1: establish the information owner

List every campus, curriculum, grade range, public contact route, and admissions page. Ask an authorised school representative to verify each item. Create a source-of-truth sheet with the reviewer and review date. Flag information that is awaiting confirmation.

Check the website on a phone. Can a parent identify the correct campus and ask a question? Correct broken links and outdated contact details before redesigning decorative elements.

Week 2: publish the admissions hub

Build a page covering the academic year, application stages, eligibility, document checklist, campus choices, and visit arrangements. Clearly distinguish enquiries from applications and confirmed admissions. Explain what happens after submission.

Assign a process for answering enquiries and protecting the information received. Test the form with a staff-owned address and confirm that a response reaches the right team.

Week 3: answer recurring questions

Choose three frequent questions from actual enquiries. Publish specific answers using verified details. Link them from relevant campus pages and the admissions hub. Use descriptive titles and headings, and give each page a review date.

Prepare images with appropriate permissions and informative alternative text. Do not expose student names, records, or contact information in screenshots used as examples.

Week 4: review and improve

Compare enquiry quality, unanswered questions, and task completion against your first-week notes. Record changes rather than attributing every result to SEO. Update confusing content and retire obsolete academic-year information.

Repeat the review before each admissions season. Keep an editorial calendar based on real parent needs instead of committing to a daily article quota.
